With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William C. Appel of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenny and Carl; and his sisters, Jancie Corrigan and Bonnie Carracci. He is survived by: his wife Vicky (Giannantonio); his children, Patrick (Jean), Michael (Kelley) and Kassie; and his stepchildren, Debbie Kline, Frank Taylor and Robert Taylor.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Bills Honor to the Francis House.
