He was predeceased by: his father William C. Murtaugh; and his sister Kim LaVair. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Murtaugh; his siblings, Lori Dutcher, Jeannine Murtaugh Reath (Andrew), Jeffrey Murtaugh and Kathleen Murtaugh; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Garno, Anne Louer, Margaret "Peggy" Dwyer (Joseph), Robert Louer, Richard Louer (Pamela) and Daniel Louer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
