In loving memory of Wayne G. Johnson of Taberg, New York, born in Rome, New York, who departed this world on April 17, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Johnson and Stella Frankow Johnson; his wife Judith Clark; his grandparents, Clarence, Ethel Johnson, Stephen and Mary Frankow; his brother Mark Johnson; his grandson George Pope III; and his son-in-law George Pope.

He is survived by : his children, Dina Johnson of Taberg, Debbie Pope of Rome and Wayne Johnson (Kristine) of Taberg; his grandchildren, Jason, Andy (Amanda), Dakota Johnson (Lexi), Jessica (Bill), Nicholas (Sarah), Brandy Pope (Rick), Alona Schipano (Louis), Josh Johnson (Krista) and Kristy Johnson-Brower; his sisters, Barb Townsend of Rome and Marilyn Zalatan of Georgia; and his caregivers, Jessica Gasparini and Ashley Luce. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; one great, great grandson.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lee State Road Cemetery.
