He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Ackerman and Esther Ackerman; and his brother Clayton Ackerman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Delia Marmo; his sons, Robert, Jr. (Darcie) and Thomas; his grandchildren, Kimberly Garcia (Johnathan), Maureen Colon (Robert) and Richard; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Levi and Julian.
