He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret V. George and Steven E. George. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph George (Cheyenne), Austin George and Robert E George III (Bobby); his sister Melissa George Mitchell (Floyd); his nephews, Joshua Tyler (Olivia), Chance Ash (Destiny) and Zachary Fowler; and his granddaughter Mina. He is also survived by his former wife.
In lieu of flowers the family ask to make donation to the Mountain Warriors Sled Hockey Team in Canton.
