He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miles C. Pickert and Iva J. Merrick Pickert; his wife Joanne E. LaPlant Prue; his children, Kevin (Lorraine Pickert), Catherine (Charles Munro), Jennifer (John Stamp) and Tammy Mathews of Olean, NY; his grandchildren, Beau Pickert, Sara Pickert, Kaitlyn Meek, Joseph Stamp and Madison "Maddie" Mathews; and his brothers, Paul Pickert of Ceres, CA and Gary Pickert (Evelyn Horton) of Theresa, NY. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
