With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Brehmer (Thornwood, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Ann Fennessy (O'Neill) and John Edward Fennessy; and her siblings, Patricia "Teedy" Diibon and John Edward. She is survived by: her siblings, Michael, Shirley and Betty; her significant other Albert "Larry" Brehmer; and her children, Marylou Pratt (Rob), John (Laura), Peggy Clark (Ken) and Larry (Aimee). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
