She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Casler and Jean; and her husband David Mitchell. She is survived by: her son Robert Mitchell of Columbia, MD; her siblings, Lois Fay (Al) of Beverly Hills, FL, Kathy Loveland of Oswego, NY, Darlene Campbell of Oswego, NY, Laurie Van Horn (Charles) of Red Creek, NY, Melinda Forsythe (Bill) of Martville, NY and Hugh Casler (Darlene) of Red Creek, NY.; and her sisters-in-law, Becky Diez (Pedro) and Pam Medlin (Billy Scott). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barranco Funeral Home (495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, (https://donorservices.alz.org) Friends and family may visit from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday October 12, 2026, with a service to begin at 8:00pm at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146.
