We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026, at the age of 64, Richard George MacAlpine of Ticonderoga, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. MacAlpine and Phyllis G. MacAlpine; and his sister Louise Goodwin. He is survived by: his siblings, William Wallace (Diane), Kenneth (Julie), David (Cathy), Robert (Jane), Douglas (Angela), Phyllis Lyn (Angie) and Jane (Lee); and his brother-in-law Harry Goodwin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
