We are sad to announce that, on July 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Peter A. Rumsey of Tivoli, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter A. Rumsey Sr. and Mary Messina; and his sisters, Bernadette and Maryanne. He is survived by: his close friends, Guy, Karen Gebia, Reva Wolf, Joe, Mary Ann Pacione, Ross, Audry Pepe, Bill, Elissa Daily and Celso Celaya; his pet Roger; his wife Diana Rumsey; his daughters, Krissy Papula Mary (Eric Stopanio) and Meg Rumsey; the mother of his children Linda Leto; his grandchildren, Eric Papula, Rylie Papula, Maria Williams and Grayson Williams; and his pet Bentley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Just heard about Peters passing. I lived across the street on Midland Ave. I was a few years younger, but he took me under his wing and was always looking out for me. I would go to the Rumsey house, after are early release from St. Ann's on Mondays and in the basement, we smoked, played spin the bottle with his female classmates and danced!
