Cecil Ammerman III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, Cecil Ammerman III (Tonawanda, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Ammerman II and Eunice Getty; and his brother David Getty (late Kimune). He is survived by: his wife Karen Ammerman; his children, Adrianna Ammerman, Carolyn Evans and John Ammerman; his grandchildren, Allen Gore, Nyssa Gore and Joshua Ammerman; his stepfather Robert Getty; and his sibling Glenn Ammerman (late Michele). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John O. Roth Funeral Home (25 William St, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc. (25 William St, Tonawanda, NY 14150).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Cecil may be made to National Parks Conservation Assn. or to the Buffalo Historical Society.
