With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. O'Brien of Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd O'Brien and Jacqueline O'Brien (Burtt). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen O'Brien (Flanigan); his daughter Shawna Petrello; his stepchildren, Jessica (Derek Simmons), Danielle Candy and Tucker Candy; his grandchildren, Hunter Goldsmith, Lily, Zidan Ghazalle, Jayce Candy and Harper Petrello; and his siblings, Judith Hodge, John O'Brien (Judith Prager), Robert O'Brien, Helene Weiss, Richard O'Brien (Lauren Ringhaver), Thomas (Maggie O'Brien), Jeffrey (Tina O'Brien) and Kevin O'Brien. He is also survived by extended family members including cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
