She was predeceased by: her husband Scott Clayburg; and her father Leonard Wellhauser. She is survived by: her mother Margrete Wellhauser; her brother Michael; her nieces and nephews, Shanley, Kaylee, Jaimie and Taylor; her aunt Teresa Scherger (late Donald); and her child Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn's honor to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation or SPCA of Erie County.
