She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Massman, Jr.; her daughter Barbara Becker (Thomas); her parents, George Wessner and Henrietta Wessner; and her siblings, Carolyn Wessner, Robert Wessner (late Eleanor), Howard Wessner (late Shirley) and William Wessner (Mary Lou).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Massman (late Melinda Wilson) and Margaret Massman; her grandchildren, Laura D. Freeman and Adam Slutsky (Megan); her great grandchildren, Victor Jr., Gianna D., Vanessa D. Freeman and Hazel Morrissey Slutsky; her sister Margaret King (late David); and her sibling-in-law Msgr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Hospice Buffalo Foundation.
