He is survived by: his son Edward C. Levan, III (Colleen); his grandchildren, Tabitha Schragel (Dwayne), Michael Levan Jr. and MaryLynn Levan; his great grandchildren, Alexis Schragel, Tyler Koslicki, Owsley Levan and Michael Levan, III; his daughter-in-law Mary Levan; and his brother Jerome Levan (late Mary Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
