She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Garvasi; and her parents, Joseph Wartinger and Marion Wartinger. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Small (Jeffrey) and David Garvasi; her stepdaughter Janet Muncil (late Alan); her grandchildren, Danielle Frantz (Bill), Jordan Small and Sophia Garvasi; her stepgrandchildren, Rachel Beason and Dan Beason (Josh); and her siblings, Janice Vallon (late Fran), Marlene Cichon (David), Joseph Wartinger (Elaine) and Richard Wartinger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
