She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. Slominski; and her sisters, Bernice and Dorothy. She is survived by: her children, Joan Scarpena (Joseph), Robert Slominski (Patricia) and Carol Ullrich (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Brian (Jenn), Mark (Kate), Sara (Zach), Emily, Matthew, Tyler, Melissa and Hannah. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Ellen may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
