She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Platek and Sophie Platek; and her siblings, Felicia Gibas (late Anthony), Edmund Platek (late Stella), Eugene Platek, Martha Kwasniewski (late Walter), John Platek (late Emily) and Daniel Platek (Theresa).
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Slowinski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends and neighbors.
Memorial donations may be made in Jean's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
