He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Shurmatz, Michael Shurmatz and Corey Shurmatz (Dan Kosowski); the mother of his children Nancy Remington; and his siblings, Bill Shurmatz (Debbie), Barbara Roy, Kathy Schultz (Norm), Dick Zaverl (Debbie) and John Shurmatz (Cindy). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
