She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Johnson and Frances Johnson; her brother Bob Johnson (late Darlene); and her children, Patricia Amato (Jeffrey) and Steven Morris (Jackie).

She is survived by: her husband Robert Morris; and her sons, Paul Morris and Michael Morris (Larisa).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's memory to Niagara Hospice House.

“Joyce was a long time member of the Amherst Quilters Guild. She enjoyed many years as a member of the guild's focus group, PM quilters. The quilts she made were always beautiful. She also taught guild members to make quilts using her many skills. As a friendly, happy, cheerful person, everyone enjoyed being with Joyce. We will miss her very much.”
