She is survived by: her husband Philip Helf, III; her children, Deborah Kraft (John), Shelley Bacon, Jeffrey Helf, Jacqualynn Quinn (Daniel) and James Helf (Shawnna); and her siblings, Linda Cramer (late William), Levi Baptiste (Donna), Lamont Baptiste (Brenda), Louella Hopkins, Lynnette Litten (Cecil) and Lawrence Baptiste (Sylvia). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
