She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Smith and Leeta Smith; her siblings, Gene, Jack and Gerald Smith; her husbands, Otto F. Browning and Robert Lapolt; and her granddaughter Jenifer.

She is survived by: her children, Albert Browning (Barbara), Jerry Browning (Leslie), Linda Shaver (Daniel), Susan Browning, Fay Browning and Roger Browning (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Criag, Robert, Joey, Erik, Roger Jr., Joe, Rachel, KeriLyn and Jason. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA serving Erie County in her memory.
