He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Joan; and his sister Maureen Sand (Edward). He is survived by: his wife Olga Norela; his children, Andrew, Nathaniel (William), Trevor, Ashley Rivera-Nieves (Felipe), Zilvic Palmer (Dwayne) and Francesca; his grandchildren, Dwayne, Nolan, Sadie, Aliana, Isabella and Amara; and his siblings, Charles (Maureen), Jane Donovan (Kevin), Colleen Perryman (Thomas), Carol Bedard (James), Sharon Higgins and Joseph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Dr. Hallett's name to Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
