Robert left this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Anita Phelps; and his brothers, Gary, Bill and Tim Phelps.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Phelps; his daughters, Corinne Skeels (late Scott) and Diana Schmidt; his stepchildren, Ryan Schmidt, Lana Robinson and Heather Schmidt; and his sister Kathryn Rogers. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
