He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Hewitt and Leona Hewitt; and his grandsons, Joshua and Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Charles Hewitt (Tara), Ronda Speck (Christopher), Carl Hewitt and Roxann Meaney (Steven); his grandchildren, Michele Schalck (Alan), Amber Hewitt, Tyler Speck and Ashley Hewitt; and his stepbrother Albert Kieser Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the North Tonawanda Inter-Church Food Pantry, at 100 Ridge Road.
