He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schaefer and Claris Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schaefer; his son Todd Schaefer (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Morgan, Jack and Millie Schaefer; his brother Roger Schaefer; and his sister-in-law Maureen Schaefer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roy's name to Hospice Foundation.
