We announce the death of Sarah A. Barbalato (Tonawanda, New York), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 89. Sarah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Pasquale "Pat" Barbalato; her parents, Catino Conti and Rosina Conti; and her siblings, Rose (late John), Joseph (late Jo-Ann), Mary Jean, John (late Angeline), Rosaria (late Steve) and Angeline (late Anthony).
She is survived by: her children, David Barbalato (Carol), Patricia Hulsey (Clay), Tina Barbalato and Anne Krafft (Ralph); and her grandchildren, Cassidy (Eric), David (Laura), Daniel (Ashley), Joseph (Aimee), Samantha, Stephanie (Ryan), Lauren, Nikolas (Megan), Julia (Jason) and Adored. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel) (4614 Main St, Snyder, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Amelia Parish (2999 Eggert Rd, Tonawanda, NY 14150).
