He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Hicks; his children, Alec (Jasmine), Lucas and Zach Hicks; his grandson Grayson; and his siblings, Michelle Hunter, Susan Peters (George), James Hicks Jr. (Dores) and David Jerry (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
