With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa C. Gawrys of Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Gawrys; her son James Gawrys; her parents, Anthony Szarpa and Angeline Szarpa; and her siblings, Jerome Szarpa, Jenny Rusek and Mary Ann Gatza (Annette Wrest).
She is survived by: her daughters, Roseann Gannon (Brian), Paulette McAuley (Michael) and Anita Murphy (Roger); her grandchildren, Christian, Nicholas, Zachary Gannon, Duncan, Bronwyn, Kayla McAuley, Jonathon Murphy (Stephanie), Shauna Sowa (James) and Luke Murphy; her great grandchild Wesley Pinzel-Murphy; her sister Alice Renkas (Martha Regula); and her siblings-in-law, Louise Gawrys and Dennis Wrest.
