He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn Bako; his children, Shawn Bako and Darryl "DJ" Bako; his granddaughters, Charlotte Bako and Lucy Bako; his siblings, Margi McClellan (Darwin), Maria Richards (George), Mikki Sorensen (David), Steven Bako and Johnny Bako; and his nieces and nephews, Del Ellis and Della Lombari (John).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John O. Roth Funeral Home (25 William St, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
