He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack, Robert and Peter. He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Scheelar); his children, Kathleen Marfione (Anthony) and William (Kathleen); his sister Ellen Christensen; his grandsons, Nicholas Graves (Katie) and Timothy Graves; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Jackson Graves; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Ciara and Mason Scheelar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
