He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander R. Olekoski and Agnes Bailey Olekoski Lowe; his son Michael P. "Ole" Olekoski; and his siblings, Mary Rankin (late Dallas) and Jay Lowe.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. Downey Olekoski; his children, Alex Olekoski (Melissa McLaughlin), Stefanie Rossi, Kristina Otero and Robert Horan (Sara Reyes); his siblings, Paul Olekoski (Barbara), Betty Sue Hall, Debbie Plumadore and Denise Gold; his grandchildren, Roman, Quintin, Annaleigh, Frankie Olekoski, Gavin, Gianna Rossi, Bryan Horan (Brittany Carroll) and Katelynn Horan; and his great grandchild Aspyn Abbott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, their family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. (565 4th St, Troy, NY 12180).
