Carole Canfield Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Canfield of Troy, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carole departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carole. Though Carole may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Michael S. Canfield of Troy, NY; her parents, Joseph M. Williams and Mary Paul Brunelle Williams; her brother Dennis Williams; and her brother-in-law John Girard.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Canfield; her son Robert "Rob" J. Canfield (Joanne Downs) of Manassas, VA; her siblings, Diane Girard of Union, KY, Louise Ruth (Edward) of Sanford, NC and Michele Pietroniro; and her sister-in-law Kathy Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
