We bid farewell to Catherine Halakan (Troy, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 20, 2025. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Catherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Catherine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Krill Sr.; and her brother Stephen Krill Jr.. She is survived by: her nephew Luke; her niece Julia; her daughter Elizabeth Mahan (Samuel); her mother Helen Burek Krill; and her siblings, Peter Krill (Deborah) and Margaret Hondros (Kevin Glenn). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support at Saint Joseph's University, 5600 City Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19131.
