She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Phillips and Laverne Higgins Phillips; and her siblings, Clifford Phillips and Suzzette Valez. She is survived by: her son David D. DuBois, Jr.; her siblings, Gary Phillips-Bouchard and Rose Huneau; and her grandchildren, Tye Edward Johnson, Ayleea, Devon DuBois and Sincere DuBois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
