She was predeceased by: her husband Bert T. Ashley Jr.; her parents, Maurice C. Garvey and Suzanne Garvey; and her siblings, Katharine Fusini (late Carlo) of Windsor, Cornelia Como of Amherst and Maurice Garvey of Slingerlands.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Gralenski (late Nicholas) of Aptos, Mary Mazzei (late Francis) of Amherst, Judith Garvey of South Hadley, Angela D'Angelo (Joseph) of Beaver Creek and Honora Thebodo (Robert) of Lyme; her brother-in-law George Como of Amherst, Massachusetts; and her children, Bert T. Ashley III of Troy, Robert M. Ashley (Darlene) of Troy, Ann Margaret M. Ashley of Schenectady, Eugene P. Ashley (Jacquelyn) of Troy and Cyrilla S. Ashley of Troy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
