It is with sadness that the passing of Denis F. McCarthy (Troy, New York) is shared. Denis, born on March 20, 1956, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bicky" McCarthy and Marilyn Maher McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Libby Kelly McCarthy; his children, Brenden McCarthy (Katie Jezik) and Bridget McCarthy (Joe Labisi); his grandson Nicholas Labisi; his siblings, James A. McCarthy Jr. (late Nora) and Elizabeth McCarthy-Rasmussen (John); his nieces, Julia Haley, Alexandra, Deidre and Jaqueline; and his nephew James III.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home (8 109th St, Troy, NY 12182). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (55 N Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
