She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hourigan and Mary Elizabeth Hourigan; her husband Alyre J. Desmarais; and her son Jerry Desmarais. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Desmarais (Joann) and Mary Ellis; and her grandchildren, Corrina Desmarais, Tyler Desmarais, Jessica Malatino, Travis Desmarais, Karey Drake and Kyle Ellis. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
