Doris M. Shaffer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris M. Shaffer (Troy, New York), who passed away on July 6, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman E. Bonesteel and Florence E. Bonesteel (Keyes); her husband Ralph E. Shaffer; and her brothers, William, Warren and Kenneth Bonesteel.

She is survived by: her sons, Clothiers, Cluett, Peabody and Thomas E.; her daughter-in-law Sharleen Shaffer; her daughter Debra Dutcher; her grandchildren, Megan (Alan), Slade, Shanna (Justin) and Tara (Rhandy); her great grandchild Noah; and her sister-in-law Connie Bonesteel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the Center Brunswick United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 990 Hoosick Road, Troy, NY 12180, or the Pittstown Area Food Pantry, 97 Tomhannock Road, Valley Falls, NY 12185, in memory of Doris M. Shaffer.
