She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bruce and Verneta Summers Bruce; her husband Robert T. Farrell; and her siblings, Myrtle Elizabeth Ross, Primus Jenkins Bruce "PJ", Thomas Bruce, Jr., LeRoy Israel Bruce, Hubert Jeremiah Bruce and Emily Bruce Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Vera Y. Farrell (Julie Clayton); her sisters, Alma Bruce El and Martha Bruce Kennedy; and her nieces and nephews, Nathan Williams, Howard Williams (Frankie), Patrica Bruce El, Clary Robinson (Shellie), Ronald Kennedy (Deborah), Lenell Kennedy, Delores Ross, Paul Ross, Ruth Gadsden and Ramona Jacobs. She is also survived by many grand nieces, nephews and cousins.
