James will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Larue Edward DeLaMater and Emma Veronica Champagne DeLaMater; and his siblings, Lawrence DeLaMater (Arlene), Patricia DeLaMater and Andy Descoteau.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Rainville DeLaMater; and his sister Katherine Jackson (Michael). He is also survived by 8 sister-in-laws and 8 brother-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of James Larue DeLaMater to the charity of one's choice.
