He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Sandy" Cross and LeRoy Norman "Fred" Alderman; his wife Jill Garfoli; his brothers, David M. Alderman, N. Scott Alderman and T. Mark Alderman; and his sister-in-law Suzanne Reiser.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Cynthia Alling; and his nephews, John D'Amico (Karen) and David Alderman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends.
