It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Alice Basolt of Troy, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John A. Basolt and Pauline E. Horton Basolt; her siblings, John W. Basolt of North Greenbush, Melody Howarth (Randy) of Nassau, Mary Komdat (Timothy) of Averill Park, Stephen Basolt (Kelly) of Averill Park and Albert Basolt of Averill Park; her nieces and nephews, Shannon Howarth (Greg), Jenai Southard (Frank), Joshua Howarth (Krissy), Courtney (Jeremy), Morgan Kanopka, Katie Komdat (AJ), Ashley Basolt (Sean), Jared, Jacob and Jennifer Basolt; and also, Rachael Marek (Daniel) and Francesca of Clifton Park.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (111 Burden Lake Rd, East Greenbush, NY 12061).
