He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Joseph and Katherine Jean Holstein (Hansen); and his sister Ann Judith Holstein. He is survived by: his sister Lynn Marie Holstein of Syracuse; his brother-in-law Eric Herbstritt of Greenville, NY; his nephews, David and James Herbstritt (Marlena Piper); and his friend Patty.
