He was predeceased by: his father John C. "Bud" LaReau; and his brothers, Joe LaReau (late Sue) of Nutley, NJ and Chuck LaReau (Troy). He is survived by: his siblings, Terri Pennisi (Vince) of Troy and Jim LaReau (Felicia) of Albany; his wife Charlene LaReau (Rogers); his children, Nicole Giuliano (Derek) of Niskayuna and John LaReau (Jazmin Powell) of Troy; his grandchildren, Tyson, Gemma Giuliano and Micaiden LaReau; his pet Sadie; and his friends, Wayne, Kate and Arcy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, countless dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of John C. LaReau to the Peppertree Rescue (PO Box 2396, Albany, NY 12220).
