He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold V. Hickey and Margaret M. O'Neill Hickey; his sisters, Margaret M. "Marge" Gallagher and Kathleen A. Hickey; and his brothers-in-law, James "Jimmy" Coffey and George W. Gallagher.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hickey (Dana) of Clifton Park, Deb Hickey of Providence, RI and Kevin Hickey (Karen) of Saratoga; the mother of his children Lorraine Adams Hickey-Korf of East Greenbush; his grandchildren, Meaghan, Tyler, Evan, Ryan, Colin, Taylor and Aiden Hickey; and his sister Maureen E. "Reene" Coffey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
