He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jean Gezzo (Knowles); his children, Audrey Vallee of Troy and John Gezzo, Jr. (Stephanie) of Troy; and his granddaughter Victoria Sherman. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
