We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 56, Karl D. Oberacker of Troy, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karl D. Oberacker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter K. Oberacker Sr. and Carol Oberacker (Wendel); and his grandparents, Beverly Wendel and Karl Wendel. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia, Michael West, Peter, Shannon Oberacker and Cheryl Oberacker Delello; his siblings' children, Zachary West, Holli Ann Oberacker, Derek Oberacker, Ashley Delello and Kragh Delello; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, Thea, Sutton, Banks, Daniel and Morgan. He is also survived by animals and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Schenevus Cemetery (67 Main St, Schenevus, NY 12155). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 801 Smokey Ave, Schenevus, NY 12155.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie County, PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092.

“Karl was the first kid I met when I moved to schenevus in july 1981, i moved into the brown house with the smile face on it!After the moving truck left I looked to th left of the driveway and he was standing there.. I walked over and started talking to him. We remained friends from them on. He was absolutely the kindest,funniest kid I ever met. Rip karl. You will be missed by so many ..my thoughts and prayers to his entire family. I am so sorry you all have to go through this rough time.”
