He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Girard (Sawyer) and Francis Girard; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Mildred McGork; his children, Mark Lawrence Girard (Dawn), Michael James Girard (Martina), David William Girard (Dawn), Brian Francis Girard and Lori Ciarmella; and his sister Donna Moran. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
