He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel James T. Ryan Jr. and Ellen Disney Ryan; and his brothers, James T. Ryan, III and Francis X. Ryan. He is survived by: his children, Michael Ryan (Liz), Timothy Ryan, Jean Ryan, Thomas Ryan, Sheila Duncan (Michael) and Kerin Ryan-Hart (Michael); and the mother of his children Sue Ann Heidelmark Ryan. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (55 N Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180).
